We want to ensure our youth gain skills in leadership by providing them with opportunities to get involved in planning, implementing and evaluating programs, events and policies within the BYC. Youth are the experts in their culture and we are hoping to foster that through leadership training opportunities, and staff implemented leadership activities/team building initiatives.
Post COVID, we will be working to re-develop our Youth Action Team in some capacity to empower our youth and work with staff and volunteers in a for youth-by-youth approach.
